We tried to dine at two Chinese restaurants nearby before finding this quiet oasis tucked away amidst the nightclubs. The other two places were a huge disappointment, but Jing Du was fantastic!!! It's very clean with ornately designed furniture, a mirrored ceiling and offers very delicious food. Don't expect an expansive menu or anything fancy, but what they do provide surpasses the other chinese restaurants in the area. Trust me!

Jing Du is by far the best Chinese restaurant I've ever tried abroad. It wasn't a buffet, lovely meals from a menu. The menu had lots to offer, including desserts. Still keeping it a Chinese restaurant by having banana fritters, pineapple fritters and a few ice cream desserts. The entire meal was delicious. The service was quick considering it was evidently cooked from scratch. The staff were competent and helpful. Making sure we were enjoying the meal and clearly were making the utmost effort for our experience to be good. The interior is beautiful. Chinese theme, with a lot of interesting looking items. There is a mirrored ceiling above where we were sitting. It had some figures on it, initially it wasn't apparent it was a mirror. Lots to admire while awaiting for food. Not a long wait either.I thoroughly recommend trying Jing Du to eat at if your in Albufeira and enjoy Chinese food. They don't do burgers or pizza etc. It's a proper Chinese restaurant. As far as the internal appearance/ decor and service provided, smartly dressed staff, I was surprised how inexpensive the bill was. It was no more expensive than eating at any of the multiple far less superior eateries around. They could easily be charging more, we tipped generously, as it was earned.Despite being on the main street with numerous bars, pubs and eateries, this restaurant provided peaceful and a relaxed atmosphere. It was surprising how quiet it was, considering the location. The calming music playing in the background of inside Jing Du, different, most enjoyable.I wouldn't recommend this for a group, stag for example. There happened to be multiple stag dos during our stay. I think it's perfect for a couple or a small group of more mature adults. If I could give more than 5 stars I would for Jing Du, it's hard to know where's God to eat while on holiday slo hopefully this helps. Apologies for the length.
