I recently dined at Jing Du, located on Viale Beata Vergine del Carmelo, and I must say, it was an intriguing culinary adventure. Jing Du offers a diverse menu that goes beyond just Chinese cuisine. I was delighted to find Japanese, Thai, and Indonesian influences, providing a range of delectable options. The food we ordered left a positive impression. Some dishes, like the Riso Speciale, Gamberi in Salsa agrodolce, and Cocco Ripieno, were exceptionally flavorful and a true culinary delight. Not only did the food taste great, but it was also presented beautifully, making it even more appetizing. While the food was a highlight, I must mention that the portion sizes were comparatively small. If you have a hearty appetite, you might consider ordering extra dishes. For a weekend visit, especially around 8 pm, I’d strongly recommend making a prior booking. The restaurant gets quite busy, and it’s advisable to secure your spot. Jing Du is a spacious and elegant place, capable of accommodating a significant number of guests (around 70-80 people). The ambiance is well-decorated, hygienic, and maintained impeccably. The staff, although friendly, may require some improvement in managing busy periods. We experienced a noticeable wait time for our food, but it’s understandable given the restaurant’s popularity. More efficient service during busy hours would enhance the overall experience. Overall, I’d rate Jing Du at 4.1 stars out of 5. The culinary journey was exciting, but a few tweaks in portion sizes and service efficiency could make it an even more exceptional dining experience.
