I had hayashi rice at Hanzomon and Jiro. I was guided to the counter by a friendly staff member. I had high hopes for Hayashi rice at a Western restaurant, but the taste was not what I expected. The menu said that curry rice and hayashi rice did not come with pork miso soup, but when it was brought to me, it came with pork miso soup and salad. Rice was the best.
