Maybe it was what I ordered maybe not. I found it overpriced on the food. It was delicious although somewhat bland. I wish there was more options but I think it’s a rotating menu. The service was impeccable. Very friendly staff. A little loud inside but it was 10:30pm. Cheers from Halifax, NS. Food was amazing, the duck and the fries are top notch. It was very busy for 6pm on a Wednesday night and sat at the bar which was full and a but tight. The servers were very attentive and were always there if you needed anything. The couple next to me ordered the halibut and it looked really good, will definitely try it next time. We walked into Joe Beef, sat down and I just didn't like the vibe. I felt like I was just a part of the bucket list crowd checking off their boxes so we immediately left and went next door to Liverpool House and sat at the bar. For me that was much better, a more intimate experience. The food was great, drinks were spot on and to top it off Michael was there to manage it all. Juliano kept our water glasses full and our eating area in order. Every interaction with Michael and Juliano was fun and had a great spirit which influenced our eating experience positively. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
