July, 16, 2019 I went there for lunch with friend.  The waitress tried to give me a seat near washroom with tiny small table or either right by the door.. its impossible to sit those 2 tables. Because everyone will hit us, whenever they walk by. So, I told her I want to sit on 4 people table, she was black face and gave me attitude. I dont care, I just sit down. I told her that, Because I used to order a lot. 2 of us had tried... Roti canai... the roti is so soft and puffy, but the sauce was tasteless and too watery Rojak... cucumber / bean curd/ pineapple/ radish salad with shrimp paste ... but cannot taste any shrimp paste at all.. Nyonya pie tee.. mixed veggies in crispy wonton cups, look all brown color, not colorful as the picture,  just shredded carrots and radish inside with sweet sauce.. not worth $8. We ate one piece then dont bother to eat 2nd piece.. I asked the chubby waitress, what's inside,  she need to ask the chef what's inside. Satay chicken ... they put a lot of honey on it, satay sauce was thick but tasteless Kari laksa... the soup base taste like the roti's sauce.. not enough coconut milk and tasteless.. 2 pieces of shrimp/ 2 thin slices of fish cake/ half boil egg/ 1 piece of chicken breast.. so disappointed ... dont feel like to have 2nd bowl, after I had a small bowl of it. Ice Malaysian coffee... taste like not strong McDonald's coffee with milk.. it's still warm. The young chubby waitress was not well trained,  she doesn't know, what kind of ingredients inside the drinks and food dishes. She needs to go back and forth kitchen ti ask cook about it. Only I can say... their prices are cheap, but wont go there again with food quality.
Good food and good service.  Will definitely be back.  The taste is spot on...just like what I expected.  I asked for the extra sambal on the side, which added heightened taste to the food. The servers were very courteous and polite.  Very attentive to our orders.  The food came out just in time. The decorations are just okay.  Small but manageable.
Honestly, the food was below average. Hainaese chicken was not buttery but rather tough (the sauce was mediocre) and no it wasn't free range chicken given the price point. The nasi goreng had a 3-4 pieces of shrimp that was a good size, but lacks the wok-hay of the fry. Herbal pork bone soup was kind of gross, I packed it to go and I love soup, had to bin it as it was just not appetizing. Stir fry veg was average and the chicken satay was enjoyable. Yes, I will be coming back despite the parking and how busy this place gets, mainly because I'd like to try the rest of the menu.
