I am a regular customer at Johnny’s main location in the city, and it has consistently delivered excellent food and service. Sarah always takes great care of my wife and me, the steak and fries are reliably excellent, the penne vodka never disappoints, and the chocolate cake is exceptional. That consistency is exactly why I hold this brand to a high standard. Unfortunately, the Rivers Casino location fell shockingly short of that standard. I paid $25 for two slices of pizza that were, without exaggeration, some of the worst I’ve ever been served—burnt, excessively greasy, poorly assembled, and clearly rushed. The cheese was sliding off, the crust was overcooked, and there was no indication of care or quality control. This location does not reflect the level of food Johnny’s is known for. If this is meant to represent an upscale brand, it currently misses that mark entirely. A casino location should not mean lower standards. This location needs immediate attention, because it is actively damaging what is otherwise a very strong reputation. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20 Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3

The Sicilian style pizza was really good! I was surprised for pizza in a casino, but I thoroughly enjoyed it. The prices weren’t bad at all. Service was basic but adequate. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Vegetarian options: Plain pizza.
