We stumbled on this place quite by accident and I'm so glad we did! What a wonderful breakfast! Such a true "neighborhood breakfast spot". John was incredibly friendly and the food was amazing. You could tell there were old time regulars there and also people who it was their first time as well. Everyone was greeted and treated the same, like old friends. Oh, and they made the cutest pancakes for my kids! Loved it here and will definitely come back! My wife and I had breakfast here on our 22nd anniversary. The food was perfect, cheesesteak omelet had no fatty or chewy spots and marvelous melted cheese. Pancakes were just right. John's cafe has a long history in Dallas and we wanted to check it out. Parking: Free parking in front of the restaurant.
