Deliciously light crispy fried chicken, and big juicy fried chicken sandwiches. I'm not a fan of the spaghetti but my daughter loves it. Their pineapple drink is a must have. Ate in and have also used drive thru. Service has been good as everyone is always polite. Inside of restaurant is very clean but I think a little too bright or generic. In spite of small lounge chair areas, I feel they could do with a cozier vibe. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3

I: Hi, I don't want chicken breast; I don't like it. He: Don't worry! Our fried chicken uses only legs and thighs. That's great news! This is a picture I took in 2008 in Manila, Philippines. Jollibee is a Filipino brand, a franchise popular among Filipinos. Every time I drive on I-10 from west to east, heading to IKEA, I see a giant logo of a cheerful mascot. It looks a bit like a squirrel but is actually a bee—Jollibee. I cook often and rarely dine out, but that day was an exception. I went to Fortune No. 1 in Monterey Park, but it was packed with people waiting in line. So, I decided to visit the AAA office in Alhambra to take care of some business, only to find it closed for Thanksgiving. Needing something to eat, I noticed a Jollibee nearby and decided to give it a try. I drove through and ordered a bucket of six pieces for $16.99. I never imagined fried chicken could be so juicy. Not just the legs, but even the thighs were incredibly tender and bursting with juice. The moment I bit into them, the juices dripped right through my fingers. I opted for the spicy version instead of the regular, and it was perfect-spicy but not overwhelmingly hot. I loved it. I never thought fried chicken could be this juicy. Jollibee truly nailed it!
