Lovely pub. So glad to see a toilet with a twin but WARNING: don’t leave ur scrabble unattended while you go for a ciggie THEY will clear ur intense competition away even if you leave ur bags and coats :(

Despite being less than half-full it is too loud inside to comfortably hold a conversation. Service is slow and indifferent. Food is adequate but boring and served lukewarm. The Jolly Gardeners might be a good place to come for a drink if you live close by, but I would not walk more than a block for the food. Toping it off is the "optional" 12.5% service change automatically added to the bill. Price per person: £30–40 Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3
