This pub has suffered a serious fire and is closed! I cannot believe nobody has bothered to update the website. Whilst extremely sorry for all concerned I'm annoyed having booked an expensive holiday close by so that we could ditch the car to eat, drink and be merry. 09.06.2021

Went for Sunday lunch. Very friendly landlord. When the meal arrived we were very disappointed. Vegetables were watery and tasteless at £12 each for 1 course was very expensive. 1 pint of beer and half a lager and lime £8.70.We wouldn't recommend going there for Sunday lunch.

Comfortable village pub, good ales and pub grub. Great log burner in the colder months Landlord is very welcoming and friendly. Lovely well kept beer garden. Would give five stars if there was a wider choice of draught beer. What they have is very well kept though.
