Service below everything. Ingredients OK. No vegetables. Accommodation: odor nuisance, alarm went off twice. Pricey for what you get. Shrimp croquettes: 4 shrimp. Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2

Big disappointment and worst experience from restaurant in Belgium in four years. I visited the restaurant based on friend's recommendation and I was very looking forward to taste the food. However, I couldn't experience it. Amazingly unfriendly service. Based on the waitress lady behavior, I just couldn't be sure whether she is saying true ("everything is booked") or whether she has a problem with me as a not-local and English speaking person? Are we back in 1930s?

Jolly Sailor is an excellent local eatery in Ostend's harbour area. Fresh fish, but nice steaks too. Friendly staff. I've been there on a few occasions, and hope to be back.
