Food To some it’s delicious, to me it’s okay. I’m not a fan of the laksa taste, I prefer Sarawak laksa, this one has a sweet and sour taste. The Cendol is refreshing with the Melaka sugar. Price Good price, rm12 for a bowl of noodles. Cendol was rm8. Portion For the price it’s okay, but I feel they would make the portion slightly bigger. Just add more noodles to the bowl and add more shaved ice to the Cendol. Presentation Not much presentation. More to flavor and taste. Environment Interesting. Walk in to the back to order ur food and drinks. Pay before receiving ur meal. Nice old design interior. Our frequent stop for cendol and baba laksa. It's crowded during peak hours and pls expect to q. It's self service that you need order at the stalls, pay, wait for your food, collect and bring to your own table. Find your own table first. In our recent visit in early 2026, Quality of food maintain well but the gula Melaka given for the cendol is significantly reduce due to the 'less sugar cultural'. with more than half portion left for the cendol, we requested top up for the gula Melaka. Else there is not much taste left. Server don't really smile and give a serious looks. They are tense with the work and crowd I think. Customers bringing their own hot noodles walk pass by the small corridor, take care of your kids so they don't knock any of this accidentally Meal type: Lunch Price per person: RM 20–40 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes: Baba Laksa and Nyonya Laksa Kawin

Jonker 88 is one of the must-visit food spots in Melaka, especially if you want to experience authentic local flavors in a casual and friendly setting. Located right on Jonker Street, it’s very easy to find and perfect for a food stop while exploring the heritage area.
