Breakfast is the best here, great eggs. Variety in coffee, Turkish available. Upstairs has a patio great when the sun is out. HALF Open face sandwich is perfect size for price. Top 5 coffee spots in Rochester (downtown)-IMO and they just opened up. If it's busy, plenty of space out front as well to sit outside street level. Worth Starbucks closing for this to open. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5 Vegetarian offerings: Vegetarian menu or section

Best breakfast experience in Rochester. I loved the authentic Arabian taste of Jordan & Syria! The Egyptian music um kulthum and the overall vibe with the multi- arabian cultural decoration were amazing! We tried the 8 dishes package as a group and we had foul, falafel, shakshuka, olives, halal mortadella, labneh, hummus and halloumi cheese! We also tried the kebba as a side dish! Everything was perfectly made and generously presented. We also tried the pistachio cheese cake, kunafa and Dubai chocolate, which were so tasty! The staff were warm and welcoming! I’ll definitely come back for more breakfast meet ups with friends and family! Thanks for everything Meal type: Breakfast Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

There are a lot of middle eastern cafes opening around Rochester recently, and Jordan River is unquestionably in a league of its own. My wife and I came for lunch a couple days ago and were absolutely blown away by the quality of the food and drinks, and came back with more family and had another 12/10 experience. Someone (or someones) in the kitchen here REALLY know what they’re doing. Every single thing tastes amazing, and also “simple” in that it’s not processed, the quality ingredients are allowed to shine. I am honestly concerned that they’re going to look at the expenses after a month or two of operation and compromise on ingredient quality: owners, if you’re reading, we can absolutely tell, please just raise the prices instead of doing that. They clearly have some optimization to do WRT front-of-house, mise en place and efficiency, but so long as the product is top notch (and it is), pretty much everything else is forgotten once the food and drinks come out.
