The food is delicious, the service is stellar, the ambiance is somewhat energetic but generally not loud, and the community engagement from this establishment is impressive to say the least. Every year, we look forward to the annual Yule Ball in East Grand Rapids and Jose Babushka's turns into the Leaky Cauldron where menu items are substituted with fun names, bust out amazing decorations, and they serve butter beer (both with alcohol and non-alcoholic varieties). Always a great experience here and I never regret dining at Jose Babushka's.
