Quick, polite service no matter how busy it is (and we came when it was quite busy on a Sunday afternoon).
The coffee is rich and flavorful. Delicious and very smooth.
The food was equally amazing. I would love to get the recipe for the grits. So creamy and fluffy. The Benedict was incredible as well. I can tell the béarnaise sauce is made fresh.
If you're in downtown Raleigh you have to stop in to Joule.

Eating here now. Pretty bad. Huevos Rancheros are devoid of flavor and beans are cold. Waitress dropped food off 20 minutes ago and hasn't been by since. Place is probably 60% full. Won't be back.

Always the sort to fancy sweet over savory, particularly as the breakfast menu was still offered on our arrival prior to 11pm lunch, it was a sticky cinnamon roll and buttery Snickerdoodle that the indulgence began and although deciding which of these items was better would be a chore neither of them came close to the stunning date-sweetened banana muffin, an absolute bargain considering heft, texture, and flavor at a mere three dollars.
