I always stop here when visiting tea farms and production areas in Oku-Yame, including regions known for Yame matcha and Yame gyokuro This is the last family restaurant you’ll find when traveling from central Yame toward the mountain areas of Hoshino Village and Yabe Village. Once you head into the mountains, there are no late-night restaurants for over an hour, so this is an important and convenient stop If you are driving to Oku-Yame in the evening or at night, this is the best place for a meal or short break before continuing into the mountain roads. Highly recommended for travelers heading to Yame’s tea-growing regions.
