This is the best spot near The Little White School House, Birthplace of the Republican Party. Visitors can order nicely cooked beef brisket, mac-n-cheese and beef brisket sandwiches at this bbq. The cooks here prepare good Brezeln. A selection of delicious draft beer, wine or Sangria is recommended to guests. You will appreciate great tea, lemonade or bread drink at J's BBQ.

If you’re ripping through Ripon, come hungry, come hardy, home of the Republican Party, where Harrison Ford once studied before fame found his face, now grab your fedora, there’s barbecue to chase. Crack goes the whip, drip goes the sauce, follow that smoke like a hungry old boss. Through temples of tenderness, jungles of chew, lies the legendary treasure known simply as Q. Brisket gets barked, pork gets pulled, ribs get rubbed till the platters are full. Smoke it, soak it, poke it with pride, sauce on your fingers and slaw on the side. Dig for the brisket! Unearth the burnt ends! Raid those ribs with your hungriest friends! No rolling rock, no snake-filled pit, just smoky old treasure and plenty of it. So rip into Ripon on a barbecue quest, fedora tipped forward and hunger possessed. The map says X, but your nose knows what’s true:. J marks the spot when the treasure is Q. Peace. Piece. Peas. Food is always excellent when we visit. We travel an hour one way just to eat there. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: $20–30 Recommended dishes: Brisket-Bacon Baked Beans, Cowboy Caviar with Tortilla Chips, Drunkin' Cinnamon Apples

I Found my TX BBQ! I have lived in Wisc for 4 yrs, and I had yet to find a BBQ that could rival TX. This brisket melts in your mouth, and the sauce is amazing. (I had the reg bbq sauce) Baked beans are a must have as well. The bad part? I live 4 blocks from this place. I am going to be so broke.
