The recipe for success of this restaurant is its nicely cooked steaks. Based on the guests' opinions, the staff can be terrific. Jubitz is remarkable for its fine service. It's a pity, food here isn't worth the low prices as visitors state. Google users haven't given this place a high rating.

It is nice to see this truck stop is still open. This is the best truck stop in the entire Pacific time zone.

This is a great place for locals, not so much truckers. They adhere to mostly an older crowd (60 years +) for entertainment (music, events and social), hospitality for locals (not truckers or travelers but local police, the elderly communities, and whatever passes for JUBITZ community biases). I feel like maybe this was/can be a place that was popular time to time, I did see events that entertained this idea but nothing so concrete that made me want to come here again or develop a relationship with the area or make it a popular stop. (I will elaborate later) Wonderful place to park but beware the homeless community right outside the fences and begging at the door of the entrances of the restaurant. I enjoyed reading about their history and their come up. Very powerful stuff, it was not only an industry changer but a family owned business that beat the odds for along time. The only problem I have with the old industry changers, is that they no longer want to change. 21-35 year olds want gyms & activities in their truck stops, they want healthy food, and they want community (healthy options and reliable service). 35-50 years old want a place they can call home (not mushy burritos, not sassy employees), they want a clean house, and showers that are affordable. They want affordability because life on the road is already expensive. Changes need to be made: 1.Get rid of the billboard of negativity- homeless camps against your fences and beggars at your doors. 2.Make it so drivers can be healthy, even if it’s a day pass gym or local gym or activities areas (you are an industry changer right), I see “unhealthy habits of truckers” on your walls but where is the solution, do you even provide it? If you are here for the trucker, prove it. Don’t gouge them for every penny on junks. 3.I am giving this review three stars because it needs to be known that I believe that places like this can change, employee attitudes must be reviewed and adjusted. If you are hired because of standardizations, personal beliefs, and threats that abstracts towards goals that orient a good company culture. Soon this will have to change to a professional environment to continue proper business. A side note review should read “It only makes sense to our customers that they feel welcome, knowing that our main attraction is travelers and truck drivers. We must adhere to newer standards that benefit their needs so that they can accomplish their tasks (which are our tasks too) and be accommodated in a manner that shows we have interest in their development as much as ours!” Please be open for reviews and change, today is moving faster than ever and truck drivers need a place where they can get their rest, health, safety, community, information, food and hospitality!

Hello, Devin. Thank you for your review as it is how we learn and grow as a company. We do have a workout room at the hotel that is available to CDL holders. You'll just need to show it to hotel staff at the front desk. Our efforts to continuously provide healthier option can be seen at Jake Brake with the Southwest Chicken Wrap, and Moe's Deli has many healtheir sandwich and wrap options as well. We strive to bring every customer a World Class Customer Experience and hope to deliver that to you on your next visit to Jubitz.
