It was lucky that the weather condition is still ok despite having a typhoon approaching. So we got a chance to dine here last week. The restaurant is well deserved for a 5 star compliment because we can feel the wholehearted service from the owner and her mother. The restaurant is clean, smoke free and the meat quality is of top notch. The whole dining experience is as good as what the other 5 star reviews had mentioned. The restaurant does what it wants to show: that Kushimoto is not only about fish cuisine! Hope this restaurants with rich history will go on at this great seaside town! Also, just in case the owner notices this review, thanks for your kind welcome on a typhoon night and your recommendation on the tourist spot. We did visit them on the next day and enjoyed Kushimoto very much thanks to your effort! Price per person: ¥5,000–6,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The place we will definitely come again! It’s a family business restaurant that works for 33 years. The food was just perfect, the staff speaks really good English in comparison to other places. Everything was just so fresh. The booking was only through phone, so we asked at the reception of our hotel to make the booking for us. That was the best decision , since when we were in the restaurant , there was a sign that they were fully booked for tonight. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

our best dining experience on this particular trip to japan was at Juju. the quality of the meats is unbeatable - it was so delicious we savoured every piece and didn’t want the meal to end the sets are also very reasonably priced. english and chi menus are available too. the numerous reviews below have highlighted the owner’s warmth and hospitality. we were recipients of that same excellent service too and we left the restaurant with full bellies and grateful hearts there are some free parking options nearby and next to the restaurant for those who drive reservations are highly recommended. we went at opening and got a table only because the owner was kind enough to allow us dine for 45 mins before the next group of customers came. but we were lucky because in the end those customers cancelled and we had our table for longer.
