Went to Juliano's Raw when it was in Santa Monica. The food was set out in a sushi bar kind of style, so diners could watch their meal being assembled. The chef accessed the food bar from an opening in the kitchen. Juliano stepped out from that opening, grabbed a serving spoon from one of the dishes- TASTED it, ducked backwards back into the opening while looking around to check to see if anyone saw what he was doing (although, he clearly didn't see me watching what he was doing) and then PUT IT BACK IN THE FOOD! Absolutely disgusting and completely unprofessional. Now that he is operating from an apartment, I would be very wary that he will follow food safety protocols! Ewwww!

This is not a real place but just some small apartment on the beach. I have never seen any food activity going on and doubt the cook lives here. Private residence should not be listed on Yelp as locations. This listing will be reported, there is no service available.

not so sure about you anymore Juliano... Planet Raw in Santa Monica WAS my absolute favorite restaurant. when you moved to West Hollywood, things just got weird. now this strange little apartment on the beach? What's going on?
