They recently shifted here, it's tucked away and easy to miss, this place is a hidden gem for anyone who loves authentic Newari food. The flavors are deep, rustic, and unapologetically local. The haku chhoila stood out instantly smoky, tender, and perfectly balanced with heat and spice. You can tell it was grilled with care, not rushed. The kachila was fresh and well-seasoned, with just the right hit of mustard oil and spice that makes it melt in your mouth. It’s not easy to get good Kachila, but this one hit the mark. The pork was another highlight juicy, flavorful, and cooked just right with that perfect Newari blend of spices. It had that earthy, homemade feel you rarely find in mainstream places. And to top it all off, the local aela (traditional Newari liquor) was smooth but packed a good kick. It pairs beautifully with the meats, cutting through the richness and adding warmth to the whole experience. Price per person: Rs 1–500 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
