They let me use their WiFi to connect to Google Translate so I could order some food and a beer from the menu. Nice bar, nice vibe, nice staff. Arigato Gozaimasu!! Price per person: ¥2,000–3,000

We stopped in on a Wednesday, so it was completely empty BUT what an amazing little bar/restaurant! Such good drinks and food cooked fresh. Great cozy atmosphere. Price per person: ¥1,000–2,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Very nice bar and restaurant in Nara. We found it difficult to find a place to eat on a busy Saturday evening, but the owner of Junk Box was very helpful and provided good recommendations from the menu. The beer and food were delicious and reasonably priced! Udon wa oishi deshita. Doumo arigato gozaimashta.
