Recommended to me by the punjabi security guards at value village. The food is expensive but of impressive quality. Easily the best indian in victoria. Spices are professionally balanced to a canadian palate. The food is extremely competent but to me quite underspiced. I know the chef could cut loose - i begged him to over-spice my biryani but it was still only whispered ‘spice’. I can taste that this man can paint with flavor, he needs permission to cut loose! We ordered the chicken biryani, the aloo dum and the chaat. The chaat had the most spice and the other two were too mild. If i return to victoria ill go straight back to junoon and beg harder for more spice. These are serious chefs and know their business, i just need to figure out how to ask for more flavor. This is a takeout restaurant. As we waited for our food other customers arrived to collect enormous orders and all raved about the food. I genuinely look forward to my next visit, ill lean more on getting more spice and would love to try the dal. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3

Sachin is a fine host. He gave us options and clarity. The ultimate truth: The food is legitimately authentic and delicious. We had paneer stuffed kulcha with chole which is outstanding Pav Bhaji is authentic tasting Gulab Glory is to die for (not literally) so tasty Pistachio cardamom dream is out of this world. It doesn’t have dine-in. But for the taste it doesn’t matter. Wish i had an extra star. Price per person: $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
