Food at Junsei

This restaurant provides you with nice food and a place to rest after a long walk around Montagu Square. If you have never tried Japanese cuisine, you should reserve a table at Junsei. Invite your friends with you and have perfectly cooked chicken wings, chicken heart and onigiri. This place is to be recommended for good doughnuts and tasty sticky toffee pudding. Delicious beer, martinis or whiskey are worth a try here. Great tea will make your meal tastier and you'll certainly come back.

This spot is well known for its great service and friendly staff, that is always ready to help you. Prices are average for the quality you receive. There is an exotic atmosphere and terrific decor at this restaurant. Junsei scored 4.4 in the Google rating system.

Very nice atmosphere! Perfect for dating. The crab and lobster zosui was exceptional (except the portion was smaller than I thought). The cocktails we had, Netsu Heat and Tomei Transparent, were both amazing. Highly recommended. Served by Afifa. Very good service. To clarify I am a nightkey user which gave me a 25% discount on my order, which is the only reason I went here in the first place. The food here was honestly not worth the price, the portion size is too little for yakitori as its only one stick for £6.5, It was tasty but for what I paid for it wasn't worth it, the onsen tamago was quite nice as well but again, really wasn't worth the price. I came here with my sister who ordered fried chicken, which wasn't made fresh and was lukewarm at most, and the hot sake we ordered had quite a vinegary taste and smell. The service was good, the staff was caring and ensured that everything was alright, and the buildings atmosphere was nice too. For what it's worth Junsei is a place that I wouldn't have ever gone to without a discount and will never return to because of the portion sizes and prices, making the place and experience fall flat, leaving with an empty stomach and disappointed.
