This is the ONLY place I trust for dining inside. The owners are doing everything they can to protect the community from further spread of Covid, and Eric runs a tight ship. You need to make a reservation by phone prior to dining there due to limited seating. You will be asked to have your temp taken (touchless) at the door, and you of course have to wear a mask when not at the table. They also offer curbside pickup (crispy rice is only available for dine-in, though). Choose your Spice level wisely. ????
The food is always outstanding! Fresh and perfectly flavored. Most of the family usually orders Beef Bulgogi, in spice levels between 0 and 5. My son orders Beef Bulgogi Bibimbap stone bowl, and it's his new go-to.
Last night, I had the Seafood Stew (I'm not going to try to remember how to spell it) at spice level 4...Fantastic! I come from Northern CA, and was always spoiled by Cioppino, which when done well, is wonderful. This stew at K-Peppers was an order of magnitude better than any cioppino I've ever had, which isn't a slam on cioppino, it's just that this stew is THAT good!
Came home with some leftover stew and some take-way kimche (best I've ever tasted) for lunch tomorrow. I'm a happy man!
If you like asian food (Korean or otherwise), you need to try this place!
