It is the best spot near Daimon Yokocho. Check out good oysters, grilled seafood and grilled squid this restaurant offers. The cosy atmosphere of KAIKOUBO makes visitors feel relaxed and have a good time. The patient staff works hard, stays positive and makes this place great. Cool service is something clients agree upon here. Prices are low for the quality you get. But a number of guests who use Google didn't grant this place a high rating.

Good quality, fresh and well cook food, esp fresh seafood, crab and squid are very good. Fish is also good. Crab fried rice is yummy. Salad is a bit blanded but seafood in it are good. No queue when we arrive but reservations are recommended as the restaurant was packed when we left. You can pick fresh seafood which they show in the restaurant but we did not do so. Will revisit if we are in Hakodate. Price per person: ¥2,000–3,000 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes: Seafood, Grilled Squid
