I have eaten at this KFC on Merritt Blvd in Fishkill before because they are partnered at that location with A&W Root Beer which is a favorite of mine and the only A&W in our area. I went to this location today Tuesday August 4 and used the drive thru at 2:30 to order the Tuesday special legs and thighs $10 bucket and a small order of chicken Nuggets. I asked for grilled chicken which is an option at this restaurant. I got home 30 minutes later and the chicken nuggets had a light tan color and tasted under cooked. The biggest disappointment was the grilled chicken. It was extremely dry and tasted like it had been in a warming oven for over an hour. I ate 2 pieces and threw the rest away because you couldn’t chew or eat it it was so hard. Many years ago I worked at a KFC in Rockland county as a manager and the company policy for fried or grilled chicken was if it wasn’t sold within 30 minutes it was to be thrown out. I have no idea how old this chicken was but if I go back in the future I will ask if the chicken is fresh before I purchase it and even that is no guarantee it will be. Food: 3 Service: 4 Order type: Takeaway Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $20–30 Vegetarian options: I love all the vegetarian options especially the green beans, cole slaw and mashed potatoes that I ordered today and they were delicious.

Ordered through Uber pick up and On my way out the door I took a bite into the chicken swallowed and then took another bite and tasted blood, I immediately spit the chicken out of my mouth, I complained to the Manager and she did not care, I am currently at home having stomach cramps and diarrhea and have been vomiting non stop, THE HEALTH DEPARTMENT NEEDS TO COME AND SHUT THIS PLACE DOWN. I will definitely be looking to take legal actions because of their negligence I am now on bed rest and so sick. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
