Outside, there is a banner saying 'Snacks from $2.' Inside, one discovers that the only $2 snack is a drink. Five stars for putting hydration back into snack time. Zero stars for truth in advertising. Three stars for pleasant staff on the counter.

Easily the worse KFC south of the north-pole!! I've lost count of the number of times they've run out of chicken, at lunchtime, on a weekend... Staff at the drive-thru don't know the menu... The drive-thru queue regularly spills out all the way to the street, blocking access to the carpark for all the other shops... And if I had a dollar for everytime they've run out of Pepsi-max this year, I'd almost perpetually be eating for free... KFC Woden consistently has some of the friendliest and most helpful staff of any fast food restaurant in the area. The team are always polite, welcoming, and genuinely pleasant to deal with, which makes every visit a positive experience from a customer service perspective. Unfortunately, the food quality is a recurring concern. On multiple occasions, meals have been served cold or not as fresh as expected. While the service standards are among the best in the local fast food sector, the quality and temperature of the food continue to be inconsistent. I have also noticed some food handling practices that raise concerns. While staff are generally not touching food directly, items such as popcorn chicken are sometimes scooped using containers or lids that have come into contact with employees' hands, and gloves do not appear to be used. In addition, hats and hair coverings are not always worn correctly. That said, the staff themselves remain a real credit to the store. They are friendly, efficient, and professional, and it is clear they work hard. If the food quality and food handling practices were brought up to the same standard as the customer service, this location would easily deserve five stars. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $1–20
