A number of guests say that the staff is nice at this place. Terrific service is something visitors appreciate here. You might pay your attention to the enjoyable atmosphere. We stopped into this KFC for dinner recently, more out of convenience than anything. KFC is pretty reliable. We were ready for easy and reliable, and that’s what we got.I really like the aesthetic that KFC is moving towards. The combination of tables & chairs, counters, and some leather(ish) furniture. It presents a cool, contemporary look. The hanging lights keep the place well lit and contribute to the contemporary appeal.The only thing I don’t like about it in the newer restaurants I’ve visited is the counter design. While it looks cool, the placement of the overhead menu boards in relation to the counter and the food prep area are counter-intuitive to hearing what the customer is saying. In every trip I’ve made, the person has had to ask the customer repeat something when ordering. The fans, beeping kitchen noises, and drive-through sounds are louder to the order taker than the voices of the customers. This is a design issue. If the menu boards were back further this wouldn’t be a problem. But that’s not what this is about.The restaurant was very clean, looking like the floors had recently been done and the tables were spotless. The staff behind the counter was busy food-prepping and order-assembling for drive thru orders, and the person at the counter (whose name I don’t recall) greeted us with a smile.On this visit I was determined to try the Nashville Hot chicken. We went right up to the counter to order (we were the only customers in the restaurant at this time), and placed our orders quickly (after repeating parts due to the previous paragraph) and took our seats. It didn’t take long for our orders to be ready.The Nashville Hot chicken was good, but not remarkable. I got the feeling they took regular chicken strips and dipped them in a sauce. The sides (KFC makes THE BEST cole slaw) and mashed potatoes were, as ever, reliable. My wife had the Chicken Pot Pie, and you can’t go wrong with that.No complaints about the visit, really, other than the issue with the noise behind the counter. The service was fast and friendly, our food was right and hot, and the restaurant was very clean. High marks, and I look forward to visiting again!
