Kihagi is a Japanese restaurant located inside the roadside station, Hagi Sea Mart. I stopped by for a slightly late lunch. I took the opportunity to order the recommended sashimi set meal + today's fries (amberjack). My wife has a mini seafood bowl. The first step is to choose a seat and order from the staff. Since it is a popular restaurant, there is often a waiting time, but since the time was around 3:00 pm, we were able to sit down without waiting. The first cold drink will be brought to you. From the second cup onwards, you will be self-serve. They also have hot tea. It was delivered about 7-8 minutes after ordering. The sashimi (and seafood) are all fresh, and they seem to cut them after you order them, rather than pre-slicing them. The sashimi was fresh and not oxidized. The basic set meal is ¥1,680, plus a slight addition (I think it's ¥180...?) for ¥1,800, which comes with fries, so we recommend it. You can also get a large serving of rice (+50 yen). The menu consisted of set meals and seafood bowls centered around fish, but you could also order individual items, including udon and curry. Customer service is at an average level. The price is reasonable. Budget-wise, the volume range is around ¥1,500 to ¥2,000. You can pay by credit card, but please note that JCB is not accepted. You can use PayPay.
