Nestled on Strada Clucerului in Bucharest, KIMU offers a tantalizing taste of Korean cuisine, reportedly featuring elements of Japanese culinary tradition as well. It appears that KIMU is yet to establish a comprehensive presence on popular restaurant directories, although it does maintain a minimal profile on Google. For patrons seeking authentic Korean and Japanese dishes in Romania, this spot might be one worth considering, despite limited recent feedback directly from the establishment itself.

KIMU provides a variety of service options including outdoor seating, takeaway, and dine-in, but note that delivery is not available. The restaurant welcomes diverse groups with a cozy, casual atmosphere that reviewers have appreciated, along with commendations on the food quality, amiable staff, and an overall pleasant dining experience. With offerings ranging from small plates to alcoholic beverages like beer and wine, it caters to those looking for everything from a simple lunch to a romantic dinner.

Accessibility is addressed with a wheelchair-accessible car park, entrance, and seating areas; however, it's important to point out that options for assistive hearing or a wheelchair-accessible toilet are not provided. Visitors have been thrilled with features like sushi and Korean beef soup, though current reviews date back to several months ago. Whether you wish to bring your furry friend or enjoy available parking options, KIMU accommodates both needs. Reservations are accepted for those planning ahead and they also offer flexible payment methods.

Best authentic korean food in town. They have traditional spicy korean dishes, my favorites are Kimchi bibimguksu, Kimchijjigae and the Miyokguk. They also have sushi which is really good. It’s like a hidden gem! 10/10 Meal type: Dinner Price per person: lei 140–160 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Vegetarian options: lots of vegetarian options

The food was great: delicious, very fresh and nicely served. Desserts were also another level (matcha ice cream and lemon ice cream). For a family of 5 (3 kids) we had a very nice experience and happily would come again Meal type: Dinner Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5

We had a lovely dinner at Kumi. The service was delicate, and friendly, while the food is out of this world. Portions are large, and the flavours are authentic. I really like the size of the restaurant, as well, it is intimate and very clean. In the summer there’s a gorgeous outdoor terrace. We tried a lot of different dishes and they were all fabulous! The delicious banchan side dishes were perfect! The level of spice was also very well gauged, spicy but not ‘I can’t breathe’ spicy. Go and try KIMU if you’re in Bucharest, they fully deserve a five-star review! I am so grateful that cuisine in Romania has evolved to include international flavours, makes me less homesick for NYC restaurants ;) Meal type: Dinner Price per person: lei 200+ Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
