We've been wanting to try the bar menu for ages. We were surprised to discover kin is in the old Angels location. The outdoor patio was perfect with different types of seating well spaced out and a fancy water station. As for the highly anticipated burger, the patty, the bun, and the fermented relish were absolutely fantastic. Even the American cheese made sense. What killed it was the soggy shredded lettuce and mayo like sauce. I tried to scrape it off but it just encased the entire patty. The fries were good but oversalted and hard to eat more than a few despite being my favorite super thin and crispy style of fries. The pickle appetizer was unique and delicious, especially the kimchi pear. Reviews were mixed on the deviled eggs. My husband liked them until he realized they had smoked fish mixed in. Our friend couldn't get enough but his gf hated the fish taste. Deconstructed key Lime pie was small and didn't really come across as key lim but was fun and delicious. The fried mushrooms and chicken pieces were just ok but the sauce they were served with was outstanding. Service was excellent, all the staff were super friendly and knowledgeable about the food.
