It was my hubby bday and wanted to order the traditional seaweed soup for him. Thank goodness K'ook has it. The only restaurant that does and I am grateful that they do. I would be devastated if no one sells it.asked them to pack the soup securely and they did. All my food was all there. FYI we live 1000 miles away bc of my schooling that's why I couldn't cook it.

I've been countless times in the past few years and today I am so heartbroken to hear it's permanently closed. It will be missed, i loved their kimchi jigae and korean fried chicken. Please open up again in the near future! The city needs a casual, ambient korean dining experience.

Probably the best Korean spot in the East Village. Super authentic food, coming from someone that has tried many Korean restaurants in different cities. The banchan is fresh and delicious, the kimchi jjigae was flavorful and I even ordered another bowl of rice to go with it. The pineapple soju was also great :) Highly recommend showing up before 8pm.
