My son and I had a wonderful experience at Kyo Craft. We had a very tasty lunch served to us then learned how to make chopsticks with a master craftsman. We had the opportunity to see a variety of traditional Japanese crafts and textiles and learn how they are made. Everyone treated us with so much kindness. It was the most special day in Kyoto. I look forward to visiting again. Thank you so much!

I had a very enjoyable experience engaging with the craftsmen and our group opted for incredible lunch . The care put into my meal matched the skillful craftsman ship we experienced in our workshop. This place is a must experience if you are in Kyoto . We created mini tatami mats and kitayama cedar chopsticks. It was very satisfying working with such high quality materials. You really gain an appt for the skill and labor involved
