The Food (The Only Highlight): The food at Kabablaki Jbeil is honestly excellent. We ordered the mixed grills and kabab; the meat was high quality, perfectly seasoned, and the presentation on wooden boards was very professional. It is clear that the kitchen team is talented at what they do. The Service & Management (Major Disappointments): Unfortunately, the front-of-house experience was highly unprofessional and overshadowed the quality of the food: • Hygiene Standards: Beyond the lack of hairnets, I noticed kitchen staff working without gloves, which is a serious concern for food safety. Additionally, kitchen staff were seen coming out to clean tables and then heading back into the kitchen, creating a major risk of cross-contamination. • Lack of Hospitality: No one greeted us upon arrival. We had to find our own table and practically "invite ourselves" in. • Unprofessional Staff Behavior: The waitress (in the beige dress) was extremely loud and unprofessional. She spent a significant amount of time sitting at a table in the dining area making personal phone calls about family matters. This lack of boundaries is unacceptable in a restaurant. • Poor Table Maintenance: As seen in the attached photos, neighboring tables were left dirty with overflowing ashtrays and trash, even when new customers were being seated. • Inaccuracy: Our salad was completely forgotten, likely because the waitress did not write down the order or confirm it with us. No one checked on our experience until we were paying. Conclusion: It’s a shame to see such "Mratab" food being ruined by a lack of basic hygiene protocols and unprofessional floor staff. I hope management takes this feedback seriously to match the service quality with the kitchen’s standards. Meal type: Lunch Food: 5 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 1

Dear Joseph, Thank you for taking the time to share such detailed feedback. We sincerely apologize for the disappointing aspects of your visit and truly appreciate your kind words about the food and our kitchen team. We take your comments regarding hygiene, service, and table maintenance very seriously. This is not the level of experience we aim to provide, and we understand how these issues overshadowed what should have been an enjoyable meal. We would like to clarify that our main front-of-house waiter, who usually ensures proper service and organization, is currently hospitalized due to illness. During this period, he has been temporarily replaced by a trainee, which unfortunately led to gaps in service, order follow-up, and overall hospitality on the day of your visit. This explanation is not an excuse, but context, and we fully acknowledge that the responsibility remains ours. Regarding hygiene and cleanliness, we are addressing this internally with immediate corrective measures and stricter supervision to ensure full compliance with food safety and service standards at all times. If you are willing, we would appreciate the opportunity to speak with you directly and make this right. Please feel free to share your contact number with us so we can personally follow up. Thank you again for your honesty and for bringing these matters to our attention
