Good place to eat affordable sushi. Won't say it's the best or most authentic, but great food nonetheless for its price. Also happy hours menu Mon-Fri 2-6pm is great. Parking: Street level and basement parking have 2 different entrances. Use the stairs if you go to basement parking Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $30–50 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Parking space: Plenty of parking Parking options: Free parking lot

The new location is nice. It would be better if the lights were not as bright. I felt like I was in a cafeteria. It does not have an inviting feel. It would be better if the lights were dimmed and tea lights on each table. The booths also suck. Tables are smaller and not comfortable! The seats are too close to the table.!
The service was fantastic . Marcelo was amazing . He is the only reason for our return. You have a great place, make it more date friendly .

Kabuki Japanese Restaurant is the best family Japanese restaurant where they have multiple locations. The food at the Hastings Ranch location in Pasadena is consistently excellent, especially their sushi and sashimi. The price is reasonable and the portions are just right. Even though this isn't a ramen restaurant, their ramen is surprisingly good. The food presentation is artistic and classy. The best servers there are Mars (Marcelo) and Annie. Ask for them and you will be treated with the utmost friendly and professional service. After being a regular customer, they remind me of cruise ship waiters that remember what you like.
