Finally a place for good Hong Kong food in the middle of Kings Cross - I have waited a long time for something like this! They also serve some classic Singaporean food like Hainanese Chicken Rice. A cheap and cheerful outfit which I am adding to my regular go-to list.

Who would have thought we could find decent Hong Kong style tea parlour in the heart of Kings Cross surrounded by seedy clubs. We were having a meeting nearby and struggle to find a quick lunch spot when Kafe X came to rescue. The $10 BBQ pork set menu is not only a steal but very tasty. It also comes with a daily soup and a soft drink. Our other dish is beef in tomato sauce which is equally delicious at $13. Don't be put off by the surroundings, the food here is cheap and cheerful and service very friendly.
