Best in class for food at sub $150/pp . Dined in Seoul, Paris and across the US this year including NYC and this place takes the best value award for me. Each dish was well balanced and there were no dishes where I was explicitly disappointed due to an off flavor or lack of variety in flavors. I would rate this place as a must visit, at the current price point of sub $150 per person I would rather go to Kagali twice over a $300/pp experience in Seoul or NYC. If I had known Kagali would be this good I would have brought over a ~$300 rose champagne that I was saving for a nice meal but unfortunately I played it too safe and missed out on a potentially even greater meal. Only disclaimer is that I was under the impression that it was a yakitori based restaurant but it was more of a kaiseki experience to me with less charcoal based or influenced dishes. Not a complaint, likely just a misunderstanding on my part. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
