The reason we tried this place? Look at the picture. Food was interesting, simple and assorted with Sake and we had ... a lot! "Respect the door indication". Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: ¥5,000–6,000

Had a great time at Kagome today! Saw a few negative reviews from fellow tourists and I think I can see why. Here are some tips to have a good experience here! (1) This is a local spot that is open to tourists, it is NOT a tourist spot, you are not their main target audience. If you are polite and show good manners, they will welcome you. Boss and lady boss, as well as the locals there are all friendly if you are respectful. (2) As a result of (1), they do not have an english menu. You are expected to use google translate and try your luck with the dishes. Not really an issue since all their food is great, but lady boss can speak decent english so you can tell her if you have allergies. (3) This is a drinking place, and you are expected to order alcohol before getting any food. If you're not planning to drink, do not come here. Overall, I had a wonderful experience tonight. The drinks were great, all the food was delicious and the locals were super friendly. They did their best to communicate with me despite the language barrier. Thank you for the great experience!
