I’ve been coming to Kaliente for years, and after tonight, I can honestly say this will be my last time. What happened was completely unacceptable. My friends and I were seated, minding our own business, when a group came in and started taking our chairs without even asking. We chose to ignore it and keep the night positive, but things escalated quickly. One of them thought it was “funny” to touch me inappropriately, and another kept aggressively bothering me with a fan, invading my space. When I finally reacted and tried to defend myself, the situation turned into a full-on fight where multiple people came at me. That alone is bad enough—but what’s worse is how poorly it was handled by security. There was little to no real control of the situation, and I did not feel protected as a paying customer. This is not about “drama”—this is about basic safety and respect. No one should be touched without consent, harassed, or ganged up on in a venue that’s supposed to be fun and inclusive. Kaliente used to be a place I enjoyed, but tonight showed a serious lack of management and security standards. If you care about your safety, be aware—because clearly, the staff is not prepared to handle situations like this properly. I’m extremely disappointed. Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
