Kalika is one of many cute restaurants to choose from on a Umikaji Terrace. Kalika was my first choice because I love Thai food. For what it’s worth, it is authentically Thai— I recognized the staff’s distinctive Thai accent as I walked up to the counter. The prices weren’t bad, each of the dishes were under 1,000 yen. I had the grilled chicken, my wife had Thai Basil, and my son had the fried rice with shrimp. We all enjoyed our meal and I would recommend this place if in the area. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: ¥1,000–2,000
