The savoury and flavourful Hamburg patty paired with the slightly tangy dashi and vegetables is sublime. Staff members were very hospitable and the atmosphere in the restaurant was very cheerful . Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Having lived in Kamakura for 6 years now, this is one of the few restaurants I look forward to returning to. Simply put...delicious food, expertly prepared, served by a friendly professional staff in a cozy space...makes a meal at Kamakura Rokuyata an enjoyable experience...every time. The 'Hamburg' is Japanese comfort food that is served in many restaurants and often made at home. But Kamakura Rokuyata's version (patties made of chicken, pork and Tofu) is a lighter, more healthy version than the typical beef and pork patty. This is especially true as the set meal includes miso soup, a generous salad and Tofu side dish. The entire "Healthier" meal is an ensemble of lovely flavors which can be further tuned with the many topping options. My favorite is the 'Garlic and Spicy Oil' variant. The chef is a true genius. Go. eat. enjoy. I promise you will be glad that you did. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
