Came on the off season lull period for echizen crab. Owner regretfully told me I missed the period by a month. Got a kaisendon that included Toyama's famous Benizuwai Kani or red snow crabs. Didn't disappoint. Man gave huge portions that we have never seen before. Hamachi was fresh, ikura was delicious, the crab was fantastic He even served black coffee as an after meal If I recall (his name was Yashushiro...?) He asked us where we were staying and found out that we had taken the bus. It isn't an easy place to head to without a car and it was raining relatively heavy. Man was absolutely wonderful as he drove us to the nearest bus stop which would have taken us about 30min by foot Head down to Kameshimatei for one of the better seafood in Fukui. You won't regret it Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
