This place was directly across from our air bnb apartment. So, we passed it daily as we were coming and going. I did a bit of research and thought it looked pretty good. We decided to go for it. We took a few seats at the bar. Sort of like a sushi bar vibe which was fine. We ordered miso soup, edamame, Tonkatsu ramen, gyudon and curry udon. I also got a single piece of fatty tuna or otoro. The ramen was tasty and the noodles were a bit firm which was good as I didn't have to rush to finish them before they went soggy. The pork Chashu was very pleasantly smoky and the egg was perfect. My son had the curry udon and the curry broth was beefy and flavorful with nice chunks of beef , the noodle had good springy texture. My wife's gyudon was very good as well and we took notice that the rice was short grain and authentically Japanese. I enjoyed the zesty pickled ginger that came with it too. Very good. Edamame we're just fine as well. Unfortunately, they forgot our miso soup but didn't forget to put it on the bill. We waited ten minutes after asking for the check and another ten waiting for them to correct the bill. Too long.. I also asked for a box to go but there was a misunderstanding and they tried to bring me saké. I think the music was simply too loud so "caja" (box) sounded like "sake" with the blaring music overhead. Just a bit frustrating. Overall, really quite good but the lax service and several mistakes prevent me from giving a higher rating. Really about 3.5 stars. I'd suggest turning the music down just a bit and reading/expediting orders more carefully. And when someone requests the bill don't leave them waiting for ten+ minutes. Also, there's no menu pics at the moment on Yelp but there is an extensive menu. If you're craving ramen or Japanese food in CDMX I'd recommend this place. Thanks! Domo Arigato Gozaimasu!

I don't think it lived up to the expectations of a ramen restaurant in Mexico City that is said to be delicious. Did I expect too much? What is the compatibility between mustard greens and pork bone soup? I felt that it would be difficult to maintain good quality if there was only one person working in the kitchen.
