This is a fantastic local restaurant famous for its katsudon! The staff is incredibly welcoming and the interior has a unique, charming vibe. Since I was looking for halal options, the staff kindly explained that their meat isn't halal but offered to whip up a custom vegetable dish just for me. They did an amazing job, and I am so grateful for their hospitality. If you have halal requirements or food allergies, just let them know—they will absolutely accommodate you Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Vegetarian options: Available, if you need just let them know Dietary restrictions: Yes

Great local restaurant. I had the specialty Kamiya’s katsudon, which was great and very filling. They try to spoke basic English but one of us was Japanese so they switched when they saw them and felt a bit frustrated they could not spoke it! Seems to be very popular among road trip travelers and locals, but there is a lot of tables and they are very quick serving. All the ladies serving and cooking were extremely friendly and outgoing. Highly recommended. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: ¥1–1,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Dietary restrictions: They were very friendly and understanding with a member of our group who is celiac and had a nut allergy. They checked labelled ingredients just in case and suggested as well best options for them to choose and gave alternative side dishes.
