Kampong Express is a great option to grab a quick bite for lunch or early dinner. The food is good value for the money. We stopped by for dinner before heading to the cinema, we had the pan fried chicken and shrimp dumplings and curry samosas as starters. And for mains we tried the hainan chicken, nasi lemak beef, and the double egg and ham jian bings. The dumplings were super crispy and the meat was well made. Jian bings are a little underseasoned, so I suggested getting some add-ins to make up for that. Overall the food is tasty, and the portions are decent. The service is fast and we had no issues. The place is quite small, more like a takeout place than a sit-down restaurant so it might be tough to get a spot. I'd recommend it if you're looking for some quick snacks.
