Kaneido is a wagashi (traditional Japanese confectionery) shop located on a street known as 1-6-4 in Tokyo. It offers an assortment of sweet treats, including yokan and seasonal delicacies that thoughtfully reflect Japan’s changing seasons. Previous visitors appreciated the quality of Kaneido's sweets, particularly highlighting offerings like kashiwamochi and fish-shaped treats during the Golden Week period. Notably, these mentions date back five years, and recent updates from the establishment or its management are lacking.
Reviews indicate a welcoming atmosphere, with staff providing sampling opportunities and even offering cups of their black soy tea, which pairs well with the confections sold. With options suitable for both personal enjoyment and gifting, Kaneido provides smaller gift packages as well as larger assortments that cater to diverse needs. Guests also noted the shop’s presence in a location referred to as "the basement of Oazo," although details surrounding operating hours remain unknown. Given its absence of updated information, visitors might want to confirm current offerings or availability directly before planning a visit.

Indeed, I have visited other branches for serval times. The key point is not the appearance of the store itself. Instead, the snack, big red bean with agar, is my favor. I strongly recommend this product. Credit card is available.
