Kaneya is pretty near Otani Hombyo. Nicely cooked curried udon, curry soup and japanese curry are the tastiest dishes. Based on the reviewers' opinions, waiters serve delicious coffee.

After early morning visit to the Kiyomizu Temple, we walked down the slope and entered this place. It was so beautifully decorated and the BGM was perfect. Everything was so great. I recommend it to you. Please visit this place if you also love gorgeous cafe with great food. Price per person: ¥3,000–4,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Not much on the menu, but what they have is excellent. Home run business, traditional and cozy atmosphere. You can book a traditional seating table, to really imerse yourself in the tradition. Vegetarian options: Limited, but you can order veg option.

I went there for lunch in mid-March! A lovely townhouse cafe with a latticework and a townhouse facade. When you step inside, it will make you feel at home. When I entered the room, the light leaking through the latticework softly illuminated the room, making me realize that I was in Kyoto. I was drawn in by the delicious-looking menu outside, but when I looked at the homemade menu, I was excited to see the food that my mom had made at home. I ordered the half-and-half Kyoto-style curry and omelet rice, which looked cute in three colors. It's nice that the mini salad and soup come with 4 white eggs The fluffy and melty baked egg is mixed with rice and curry for an indescribably mellow taste! It's a taste that makes you feel warm when you hear it faintly. It was so delicious! After walking around the Shimizu area, why not fill up your stomach at Kaneya-san? Thank you for the meal!
