This is the best Japanese restaurant in Georgia, let alone, metro-Atlanta! The sushi and sashimi are fresh and everything is well-cooked. The staff are very considerate about what you want. My parents wanted a whole meal for 2 not spicy at all, and the waiter was happily able to make substitutions and let the kitchen staff know of our needs. They had forgotten one of the sushi rolls we ordered. When we let them know, they were very respectful and kind about it. Though I guess we can say that the food was so good, we almost forgot about it. Quick Tip: Be sure to let the waiter/waitress know that you filled out the sushi order form. The only concern I have is for the staff to ask about potential allergies. When we had received our banchan, we were given a dish with peanuts, so that made my family and I hesitant to try any of the yummy food since most of us are allergic to peanuts. Nevertheless, we left that dish alone, everything else was great, especially the pumpkin porridge and sushi. The kalbi hit so good too. I’ve never tasted kalbi that good outside of Asia. PLEASE NEVER CLOSE DOWN OR CHANGE KANG NAM! YOU ARE LOVED!!! Dietary restrictions: The staff was able to accommodate for my parents’ need to not have spicy food. They were very respectful of that. Parking: Pretty small, but it’s in a small complex and the size of the restaurant is rather small, so it’s fair.
