The service was super quick despite our party size of around 10. Everyone seemed to really enjoy their food. I got Hiroshima style Okonomiyaki and really loved it. Food: 5 Service: 5

Unpalatable. I've visited almost all the famous restaurants in Hiroshima, but I've never had Hiroshimayaki that was this bad. With Kankichi-yaki and the most popular menu item bearing the restaurant's name, I don't think it will last long if it stays this bad. I will never go again. (Additional note) The owner is proud to say that it's been going on for 5 years and is making excuses, but it's the same as the fried takoyaki chain being popular outside of Osaka, where people don't know how delicious takoyaki is. My workplace is based in Hiroshima, and I have been to many famous restaurants with locals over the decades, but compared to those restaurants, the food is not good, and I will never go there again. It's a waste of my money and time. I don't think such a bad restaurant will last. I'm just writing my honest thoughts. There is a similar Hiroshimayaki restaurant called Carp in Kanda, Tokyo, and it is a very delicious restaurant, so I had similar expectations and ordered the expensive special menu that bears the restaurant's name. I wrote a disappointing review. It is also true that there are other restaurants in Hiroshima that are not as good as this one, and some restaurants that serve Hiroshima-yaki are popular among tourists and local residents. If there are people who don't know the famous, authentic Hiroshima-yaki that they call Hiroshima-yaki, and they think it's delicious, and they go there for five years, then that's a good thing. I'm not a prophet or anything. What's wrong with the store owner's strange reaction? When I looked at other people's reviews, I noticed that the comments of people with bad reviews told me to tell them their real names and to contact them.I've been coming to the store for a long time, so why are you writing reviews now? When I witnessed him being bitten, I doubted the shop owner's aggressive nature. That's why people write reviews that suspect power harassment. It's disgusting and scary. This is fine for my store. It's been going on for 5 years! If you think so, just ignore my review and it's fine. People are saying that it is affecting the reputation of the store, but in addition to my personal impressions, it is also an undeniable fact that they are not as satisfied with their customers as other reviewers with low ratings. I can't help but feel that a humble businessman would be the wrong person to accept a low rating and investigate the long line of stores, or to bite at someone who is striving to improve or make a leap forward. They may be trying to turn people who give low comments into complaints by showing off their opinions, but in all the reviews I've given so far, almost no one star has been given. I think that as a businessman, you have chosen the wrong method of crisis management and response methods. Even if they blackmailed the people who gave negative comments and changed the comment section to a place where there were only good reviews, I would still not go to a store that only had good comments because I would suspect it was a stealth marketing operation. The store owner's aggressive response is disgusting and I think it's an act of disgust. I think the word-of-mouth space is not a place for store advertising or compliments through stealth marketing, but a place for consumers to share information. I understand that you are a well-intentioned person who saw the reviews, remembered your own bad experience, and wanted to share this with other consumers so that they don't have the same experience. Google also seems to be taking strict measures against stealth marketing. Beyond the taste, I realized that this is a restaurant I will never go to again.
